Lotus Chair.
Rob Parry designs furniture with fantastic seating comfort and a special story. Lotus armchairs were designed originally in the 1950s by the well-known Dutch designer Rob Parry. His style is characterised by elegant lines and the striking use of materials.
Rob Parry Originals is an activity of the Sixty Fruits Foundation, a not-for-profit social enterprise whose main objective is to help people who struggle to access work, by employing and training them in the craftsmanship of creating these beautiful chairs by hand. The wood is chosen carefully for its appearance and durability, such as Dark Wenge or striped Zebrawood. The wood gives the furniture a warm feeling and appearance. In combination with the luxurious Kvadrat upholstery fabrics, the design comes to life and creates a chair that brings a little magic to any interior situation.
Rob Parry chairs are designed to be easily restored which means a customer can enjoy their Rob Parry chair their whole life and pass it on to the kids. This reduces consumption and waste- an investment in quality that lasts a lifetime.
