Hale.
The design of Hale was inspired by the classic school chair: Simple, functional, and no-nonsense. These principles are not only reflected in the way it looks but also in how it’s made. The chair’s seat and back are produced from PET Felt, recycled plastic bottles.
Hale is the outcome of De Vorm’s collaboration with Ivan Kasner. Their shared values resulted in a product that is beautiful in its simplicity. Its fully customisable design allows for a wide range of applications in interior projects.
PET Felt is a soft but strong material with excellent acoustic performance. In addition, it’s recycled and recyclable. With Hale, De Vorm took another step forward, turning the previous three-stage process into a single moulding action. The new approach allows the Hale chair’s elegant curves, ergonomic shapes, and soft texture.
The seat and back are available in eleven PET Felt blends. Choose any RAL colour for the frame. Seat upholstery is available as a custom option. When equipped with armrests, the chair can be easily suspended from any tabletop. Curiosity triggered?
To enable De Vorms customers to try out different chair variations, we created a product configurator for the De Vorm website. Now they can see what they like best before placing an order.
